Ode to Otto

Ode to Otto

The pig sat beneath the tree
wishing for a tea-time meal
served promptly by three
his stomach growled
pears were in sight
with help from above
it would solve his plight
dear wind, dance the branches with ease
drop the green fruit to my hoofs please
she smiled and blew a gust with might
the ground was covered emerald fruit ready to bite
such joy nature gave on that fall day
it started with the wind
before she danced away
